 Celebrate 85 years of Batman with the new LEGO DC Batman Gotham City Skyline set

 Today the LEGO Group, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products and DC, unveils the LEGO DC Batman Gotham City Skyline set, an amazing recreation of Gotham City as it appears in in “Batman: The Animated Series.” This atmospheric set, a 3D recreation of the Gotham City skyline in LEGO bricks, releases as Warner Bros. Discovery celebrates 85 years of Batman throughout 2024.

 The 4,210 piece set is a Batman fan’s dream as every tower and building meticulously recreates iconic locations from Warner Bros. Animation’s “Batman: The Animated Series” including the Gotham City Court, Arkham Asylum, the classic Batwing and Bat Signal. The set is also full of Easter eggs and beloved characters including Catwoman, The Joker, Harley Quinn and Batman himself. In addition, parts of the set open up to reveal more intricacies inside.

The perfect set for DC fans, the Gotham City Skyline set is a stunning display piece which can be wall-mounted or placed on a shelf.

Ik heb niet snel iets met batman-sets, maar deze vind ik toch erg gaaf geworden. Enige minpunt is het grote aantal stickers.

Wel duur voor zo'n ding. Hopelijk brengen ze meer BTAS sets uit. Is een van mijn favoriete tekenfilm series!

Hij was denk ik wel iets mooier geweest in het zwart zoals in de serie. Blijft een van m'n favoriete Batmobiles
 
 Hij heeft zo te zien een nieuw onderdeel. Een 1x3 of 4 tile met gaatje. Nog niet eerder gezien.

Komt er weer een batman film eigenlijk?


 

Dit jaar komt er eigenlijk alleen maar een HBO Max-serie rondom The Penguin (een continuatie van de gebeurtenissen uit The Batman (2022), waarin dit personage door Colin Farrell wordt gespeeld) die eind 2024 op de streamingservice komt. Trailer: Link
Verder komt er Joker: Folie à Deux, een sequel van Joker uit 2019 waarin het hoofdpersonage werd gespeeld door Joaquin Phoenix. In de sequel maakt Lady Gaga haar opkomst als Harley Quinn en de film zal vanaf 4 oktober 2024 (Amerikaanse release) in de bioscoop te zien zijn. De trailer kun je hier vinden.

Dus de sets komen daarom uit? Want anders voel ik mij als superman/girl-fan wel tekort gedaan.

Nee, dit zijn gewoon sets om een bepaald jubileum te vieren (volgens mij).
DCU moet volgend jaar opstarten en nu maar hopen dat het aanslaat.
Het zou moeten beginnen met Superman.

Lijkt me min of meer van hetzelfde formaat als de wagens van/uit de Icon-serie. Deze gaat er dus prima tussen passen.

Met 50cm. is deze toch een slag groter.

Amerikaanse wagens zijn 1 op 1 ook vaak een stuk langer dan vergelijkbare europese modellen of sportwagens.

(en als de maatvoering niet vergelijkbaar is dan verzin ik wel een andere reden om deze te kopen)
